NOTICE: The 2018 deadline for the Tam Tran Scholarship has passed.

Our Scholarship Program

The César Chávez Scholarship Fund proudly sponsors the Tam Tran Scholarship to help undocumented students continue on their academic path. This scholarship is a response to the lack of financial assistance provided to students, who do not have the legal documentation, that attend college in the United States.

Scholarships in the amount of $500 each are awarded to Rhode Island students every year at the Annual César Chávez Breakfast on March 31st, for the following academic year. Students must fill out an application form and return it in February.
